Arlington Acupuncture Clinic is pleased to offer a number of needle-free treatments. For thousands of years, there have been several non-needle methods for stimulating the acupuncture meridian system: acupressure and tui na, moxibustion, cupping, magnets, and gua sha.

As acupuncture continues to evolve in the modern age, a number of newer approaches have developed in this ancient art. One of these is the use of laser to stimulate the acupuncture point. These low-level, nonsurgical lasers have been shown in over 2500 studies to have a wide variety of positive effects in the body. When in China, Dr. Turpen trained in the application of laser acupuncture and is please to introduce it here.  Laser acupuncture is completely painless and non-invasive. It is a powerful substitute for needle stimulation; and it can be added to traditional acupuncture techniques as well. It also has powerful uses to promote wound healing, reduce pain and inflammation.

We also provide needle-free techniques utilizing the Acutron mentor. By integrating the ancient traditions of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine with the cutting edge technology of microcurrent and therapeutic color light, we are able to offer treatment that is completely, painless, non-invasive, and effective. With this therapy, the meridian system has been shown to powerfully respond to gentle microcurrent stimulation directly on the skin surface along with focused light stimulation, and sound waves. Each of these applies a form of resonant energy stimulation to acupuncture points and the meridian system.
